She also has this peculiar habit of collecting the apple seeds. First couple of times I asked her why, she dodged my question in different ways. It was around the fifth or sixth time I asked that she continued to gave me one consistent answer. "I want to make an orchard. An apple orchard." It sounds like she’d finally found that one good lie she was looking for.

Parvin has always lived a sheltered life, controlled by her doting if over-protective parents. This puts her at odds with her girlfriend, Roshanak, especially since Roshanak is an independent working girl who's not let her parents or anyone else dictate for her what kind of life she must live. Yet they must learn to put aside their differences if they want to survive the ever-haunting circles of life's eyes themselves.

(spoilers ahead)

hoo boy. i was vibing with the first ten vignettes, which felt like a more melancholic, if not oppressive take on slice-of-life works. but the last vignette was like a sudden car crash into the surreal and existential in the best way possible.

in the same way as parvin's soul leaves her body to watch the universe's destruction, the last vignette felt like a top-down view of reckoning with parvin and roshanak's relationship with their town and the systems at play (be it material or even cosmic) which caused their relationship to be as short-lived and doomed as we see. i'll probably be thinking about this one for a bit.

immediately after reading this i listened to christs, redeemers. nice album! i don't listen to much metal so i p much experienced it as an unusually tonal noise album, but under that lens it was still quite fun. thank you for publicly having good taste and letting the masses reap the rewards.

anyways really good vn! smart construction, honest and complex. in a weird way it feels just as monolithic as christs redeemers. discretely but effectively sets up some thematic ground and refuses to cleanly tie it up. girls desiring to see the end of unclean mortal existences, dissolution of selves, seeking eternal unions, but how feasible can they ever be? and is that end state even truly desirable? fun stuff! the entire end segment had my jaw on the floor. thank u very much :)

Given the time constraints, this was really damn good, the characters are well written and felt real to the very end. made me feel a lot of different things during it's course. The writing(I love it), the music(I love it), and the visual composition only made it better, Good job I'm genuinely impressed, gets my strong recommendation, my cup of toxic-schizo/10. I look forward to your future pieces of art, keep at it!

tysm for the kind words!! Will work hard to pump out more brain-blasted schizo shit. :)

this is gorgeous! the title cards are striking, and i love the personality of the chibi-style character sprites, and the backgrounds really reinforce the moods of the scenes. deeply unsettling, too, and sudden. like a machete :)

(also the music kicks ass!!!)

Aw, thank you! Your comment's made me deeply happy. :)

(And I love that you compared the story to a machete, haha!)

this was some painful stuff between relating too much to parvin and her helplessness and her friction fraught relationship with her exact foil of a cute but abrasive girl who tries and fails to help her in such a strangling society. all the elements work so well this ones going to stick with me

Thank you very much for reading! I'm happy the characters could speak their truth to you.

I really liked this one! Parvin and Roshanak were such a painful duo to be around. it was really gripping to see a relationship that played into itself in such a complicated way. Parvin finding their own little piece of oblivion in their partner like that was so toothsome and I will be thinking about it for a while I loved the art style for it, too. it really drove home the type of teenagers they were, and made them remind me even more of messy lesbians ive known and/or been in that chapter of my own life. thank you for sharing!

because you ended the game on an apology - don't you dare! when i am playing jam games i come into it knowing it may not be "perfect" from all directions, not that infinate timeframe games are ever perfect either. Its intereting to see what people focus on and part of their charm. i loved the sound-focus of the game, and thought the usage of pauses and time were really interesting. I will agree the ends sound a bit monologey and half baked, but since they're coming from a character who enjoys daydreaming in this way if felt in character and did not have me trying to rush through and get it over with. I look forward to seeing other stories from you in the future!

Aw, thank you! Yeah this is the first project I've managed to finish, so I was a bit nervous with it not coming out the way I wanted. If I had it my way, I would've taken a lot longer to flesh out the endings, but tbh the time-constraint made it so I could actually be content with its short-comings and finish it, unlike my other stuff.

Thank you so much for reading! Happy you were able to enjoy and get something out of it.

I felt kind of sick to my stomach and nervous the entire time playing this and had to hug my stuffed animals. Very good job.

Love to hear it! Remember to have an apple a day!
